To all clubs and their members,

Subject - Inconsistencies of judging of vehicles.

I would like mention the fact that we from time to time seem to experience inconsistencies In the judging of our vehicles at the conventions, we seem to have now have the categories
and classes fairly well sorted but are experiencing odd ball results from the judges.


I have had a few ideas suggested and I would like your ideas / thoughts and or comments.

(1) That the judges be shown top scoring vehicles from previous conventions which would then set a bench mark for judging.

2) That the judges be pointed out the fact of differing categories & classes and that many items and conditions are allowed in some classes that are not permitted in the previous category / class.

(3) Different coloured stickers ( with rally number ) for different categories and classes, This has been implemented at some past conventions, and that each catorgory and class be separately displayed.

(4) That on completion of judging the results is reviewed to pick up any inconsistencies, and to be reviewed by Federation president, and or Vice president, and or Host club convenor, and or Chief Judge, ?????
Could be a bit tricky if any of these people have a vehicle entered for judging ?? .

(5) The Federation president / vice president address the judges before judging commences.
