The
programme for the weekend is still being finalised but here is a preliminary outline
of the events. This convention will be split between two venues. Hornby
Working Mens Club (upstairs) will be used for all evening events. Wigram
Air Force Museum will be base for the Saturday daytime events. Friday
6th April New Zealand Morris Minor Federation AGM 2:00pm (upstairs
at the Hornby Working Mens Club) Convention registration desk open from
4:00pm (upstairs at the Hornby Working Mens Club) Meet and greet drinks Welcome
and opening speech by the Federation President Welcome speech and overview
of the weekend. Evening Meal Saturday 7th April Meet at
Wigram Air Force Museum at 8:30am Show and Shine, official Convention photo
session, and car judging Free entry to the Air Force Museum. Behind the scenes
restoration tours (bookings available $8) Lunch dine at the Air Force
Museum Café, Wigram Manor Café (just around the corner) or bring
your own Coach tour destinations to be confirmed Early evening get
together and drinks back at the Hornby Working Mens Club Dinner and dance
including prize giving for Federation trophies Sunday 8th April Assemble
in the car park outside the front of the Hornby Working Mens Club ready
for a Sunday drive Lunch will be at the Oxford township Return to Christchurch
mid-afternoon Early evening get together and drinks back at the Hornby Working
Mens Club Canterbury Morris Minor Club prize giving and full results Dinner The
host of the 2013 Convention to speak and issue invitations to attend Close
